NUMBERING to transform it into a Calendar 2025

WARNING: PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK the numbers and dates as you continue.. or complete this with/ for your kids **just to be safe** and BEFORE spending a long time colouring!!
Start by entering your number.
The 1. January 2026 falls on a THURSDAY
Therefore, place a 1 in the THURSDAY box.. then continue numbering up to 31. If you reach the bottom square and are on 29 or 30, the remaining date needs to return to square one. This varies according to the month and year.
Make “special dates” such as family birthdays noticeable by using 3D numbers or bubble lettering.
Keep track of the weekday where you end (here, it is SATURDAY 31st January 2026), then as you begin the following month, move to that DAY of the week – ie the 1st February 2026 will be on a SUNDAY.
NOTE: As explained, during certain months, you will need to place the final day back at the top of the page..

Try the “knuckle method” for recalling which months contain 31 days and which contain 30. Happy Hooligans has an excellent article explaining it for you. I continue to use this technique as an adult. Also remember that February contains just 28 days.. except during a leap year (the next leap year is 2028, followed by 2032).
Be sure to ENJOY your numbering.. combine a mix of “regular” numbers and DOODLE-style numbers..
Time to GET CREATIVE

With the numbering finished, it is now time to get creative!! Our DIY Calendar Template is “already designed” to provide simple drawing and art ideas to finish. That way, nobody needs to feel “unsure” about how to begin their drawing and coloring – with lots of chances to let their imagination sparkle too!
We enjoy decorating the “crossed out boxes” with tiny details – a ladybird during spring.. a snowflake in January…
Putting Together Your Adorable Printable Calendar 2026

Next, gather all 12 sheets into one stack.
Punch holes along the top edge.
Then thread a ribbon through them so it can hang!!!!

When turning the pages to move forward.. simply slip the top of the ribbon between the “Previous Page” and the “Next One,” and it will continue hanging with ease!!

Fantastic work! You have finished your Adorable Calendar for 2026!!! You should feel proud of yourself.
Keep in mind that these also make lovely Christmas Presents for family members!
