Supplies Needed
- Coloring materials – crayons, markers or colored pencils
- Popsicle sticks, wooden dowels or paper straws
- White cardstock
- Tape

How to Make a Paper Flag
1. Print the complimentary templates, then color whichever design you prefer.
The free templates can be found at the end of the post.
2. Secure a straw to the flag’s tabs with tape.
Bend the tabs over and fasten them to the back of the flag with tape. A paper straw, popsicle stick or wooden dowel will work.
If you’d rather not attach the flag to anything, simply trim off the tab section once you finish coloring.
Your American flag is ready. Create several to take along to your next 4th of July celebration or BBQ!
