Supplies Needed for the Valentine’s Day Gnome Craft

  • Gnome Beard Template
  • Construction paper – white, assorted colors
  • Heart paper punch
  • 1.5” circle paper punch
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors

Step-by-Step Instructions for the Folded Paper Gnome Craft

Start with one complete sheet of construction paper positioned vertically. Lightweight cardstock would also be suitable.

Fold one corner across the sheet to create a triangle.

Next, bring the triangle’s point downward.

Using the template, cut a beard from white paper. Tuck it beneath the fold and attach it with glue.

Then, use either a 1.5″ circle paper punch or the circle on the template to cut a nose from the paper color of your choice. Glue it over the fold. If you’re turning the project into a card, be sure to attach the nose only to the white beard paper.

To finish, punch out several hearts and glue them randomly onto the gnome’s folded paper hat.

Isn’t it adorable? This makes a wonderful little Valentine’s Day craft.
