Father’s Day Shirt and Tie Card
Supplies needed:
Start by printing the card template and the template for the tie and pocket pieces. Print the card template onto any cardstock color you prefer for the shirt.
Trace the tie and pocket pieces onto your chosen colored or patterned paper, then cut them out. Cut out a red heart as well.
Fold the card base in half. Next, trim the upper portion of the card’s back as shown on the card template.
Then cut slits into the front following the template.
Glue the tie to the front of the card, placing the top of the tie between the two cuts in the center.
Angle the flaps inward over the tie to form the collar, then secure them with glue.
To attach the pocket, apply glue only along the side and bottom edges, keeping the top and center unglued. Attach it to the card.
The heart, a note, or a small favorite photo for Dad can now be placed inside.
To finish, glue a small button onto each side of the collar.
Dad will adore receiving such a thoughtful card this Father’s Day!
