Here are a few suggestions you can share with children to help them decode the words:
- Examine the vowels and consonants on their own.
- Recall every Hanukkah-related word you know and jot them down. Do any letters appear repeatedly? Record whatever comes to mind and make comparisons.
- Rearranging the letters yourself can often be useful. Write them in a new order and check whether a familiar word appears.
- For younger children, list all of the answer words on the page for them to use as a guide.
