Today, we’re thrilled to introduce our Paper Bag Colored Pencil Craft! They’re absolutely adorable, full of bright colors, and incredibly simple to create. This may be the perfect back-to-school project and a wonderful way to inspire children’s creativity before the first day arrives.
After all, what doesn’t become adorable once you add a pair of googly eyes? These colored pencils are particularly sweet and delightful. Combine the eyes with an easy marker-drawn smile and your favorite paint shade, and you’ve got a fantastic back-to-school craft for toddlers.
Back to School Colored Pencil Craft
To create these delightful school-themed pencils, gather brown paper lunch bags, acrylic paint in any shades you like, medium-sized googly eyes, a black marker, scissors, and a glue stick.
Paper Bag Colored Pencils Craft Supplies Needed
- Brown paper lunch bag
- Acrylic paint – shades of your choice
- Medium-sized googly eyes
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Colored Pencils Craft Step by Step Directions
Take a brown paper lunch bag to begin. Turn it around so the flap’s folded edge points downward.
Shape the bag’s flap into a triangle, then glue it down to hold it securely.
Turn the bag back over, then apply your chosen paint color starting beneath the flap and moving downward.
Paint only the flap’s tip with that same shade as well. Allow the paint to dry fully.
After the paint has dried completely, attach the googly eyes.
To complete your colored pencil craft, use a black marker to draw a simple mouth.
At this point, you’ll only need to create one in each color found in the box!
