Back to School Handprint Box of Crayons Craft
For this adorable handprint crayon project, gather white and gold cardstock, markers in black, green, and several other colors, scissors, plus a glue stick.
Handprint Crayons Craft Supplies Needed
- Cardstock – white, yellow/gold
- Markers – black, green, assorted colors
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Box of Crayons Handprint Craft Step by Step Directions
Start by outlining a handprint onto white cardstock.
For our handprints, we used a black marker.
Then, select your preferred marker colors and shade each finger.
Color every finger in a separate shade until the crayon box design is finished.
Carefully trim out the handprint.
After that, cut a yellow/gold cardstock rectangle large enough for the handprint. Along the top edge, we trimmed a tiny scoop, creating a long U-shaped opening.
With the green marker, add lines along the lower corners of the rectangle to resemble a crayon box. Then, place “Crayons” in the middle. Your name would work there, too.
To finish, attach the handprint to the upper back portion of the crayon box. Position it so every finger extends above the box, creating a full and colorful crayon display.
