  • Uncle Sam template
  • Cardstock – red, white, blue, pink
  • Large googly eyes
  • Star paper punch
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Step by Step Directions for the Uncle Sam Paper Craft

Start by printing the template and cutting out each piece. Leave the large circle and mustache pieces on the white paper.

Slice the white circle into two equal parts.

Add a few wavy lines around the curved edge of the half-circle face. Next, fold the half circle in half and trim away a small sliver to create the mouth.

Open the half circle back up, then glue the mustache across the mouth.

Trace the rectangle onto either the red or blue cardstock and cut it out. Trace and cut the square from the contrasting color. Attach the rectangle along the lower edge of the square to create the hat.

After that, glue the hat onto the face shape.

Attach the googly eyes, followed by a small pink circle for the nose.

To finish, use the star paper punch to cut out several stars. A star pattern is also provided on the template, or you can choose star stickers instead. Glue the stars along the hat’s brim.

Your easy Uncle Sam craft made from shapes is now ready for the celebration! So adorable!
