Captain America Shield Craft with FREE Printable

I really enjoyed making our tissue paper paper plate jellyfish and wanted another chance to work with this material. This Captain America paper plate shield is a simple project for children who enjoy superheroes. You can choose paint or tissue paper, and the second method lets young crafters improve their scissor-cutting abilities.

Step 1: First, snip the tissue paper into tiny pieces. Since the design includes 2 red circles, set aside more red tissue paper than blue or white.

Step 2: Spread glue across the paper plate, then attach the tissue paper one circle at a time. Begin with the outside red circle, continue with the white one, add another red circle and complete the center with blue.

Step 3: Print the star pattern, cut out one star and attach it over the blue circle. Because the pattern includes several stars, it works wonderfully for a playdate or a classroom activity.
