Put together an interactive Batman paper plate craft that will keep children entertained for hours.
My good friend Marv (visit her blog What To Cook Today for delicious recipe ideas) often says she isn’t creative with crafts.
Still, she delighted my youngest with a fantastic handmade Batman card for his birthday. (Batman has been my son’s favorite superhero for the past 3 years).
It’s the sort of card you’ll want to treasure forever. Not simply because it was handmade by a dear friend, but mainly because it looks incredible and is flawless in every way.
Using this card as inspiration, I made this Batman paper plate craft for my children to enjoy.

Batman paper plate craft
Materials:
Step 1: Begin by coloring the paper plate. We prefer using our sponge brushes to paint paper plates because the process is much quicker. After the paint dries, ask an adult to use a craft knife to make a slit along the bottom of the paper plate.
Step 2: Print the skyline pattern, then use it to trim Gotham City from black cardstock. Attach it to the paper plate above the slit.
Step 3: Snip small white windows from printer paper and adhere them to the black apartment buildings.
Step 4: Trim the Batman emblem from yellow cardstock. Use a black marker to color the craft stick, then fasten the Batman emblem to its top. Insert the stick into the slit and slide it from behind the paper plate.

Instructions
- First, paint the paper plate. We prefer using a sponge brush to cover paper plates since it makes the task much quicker. After the paint has dried, an adult should use a craft knife to create a slit at the paper plate’s bottom.
- Print the skyline pattern and use it to cut Gotham City from black cardstock. Secure it to the paper plate above the slit.
- Snip small white windows from printer paper and attach them to the black apartment buildings.
- Cut the Batman emblem from yellow cardstock. Apply black marker to the craft stick, then attach the Batman emblem to the top. Put the stick through the slit and move it from behind the paper plate.
