RELATED: Turkey Disguise Template

All the templates required to make your own Christmas Tree turkey can be found at the end of this post.

Supplies You’ll Need
- Printable Christmas tree template – available at the end of the post
- Paint – green, white, and red
- Markers– (or paint markers, paint, and more) for coloring the turkey template

How to Create a Christmas Tree Turkey Disguise
1. Color the turkey.
Begin by printing a blank turkey disguise template.
Color the turkey’s head with markers, paint, or colored pencils. Since the remaining body will be hidden, you do not need to color the whole turkey.

2. Create the Christmas tree.
Print the template provided at the bottom of the post. Trace the tree shape onto green paper and the stump onto brown paper, then cut out both pieces.
Tracing Suggestions:
- Start by tracing one half of the Christmas tree, then turn the template over and trace the remaining half.
- For cutting the circle inside the Christmas tree, gently bend the paper and make a tiny slit. Insert your scissors through the opening and cut around the circle.

3. Decorate the tree.
Add round ornaments to the Christmas tree using red, white, and green paint! We used a 1/2″ round foam stamper, but an eraser end, fingerprints, or a cotton swab will work if you do not have one.
Allow the paint to dry fully.

4. Attach the Christmas tree.
Use a glue stick to secure the stump over the turkey’s legs.
Then, glue the Christmas tree in place so it hides the turkey’s body while leaving the face visible through the opening.

5. Create the presents.
Trace the printable pieces onto assorted paper colors. We chose contrasting shades for the ribbons and boxes to help them stand out!

With a glue stick, attach the ribbon pieces to each box to create a T shape.

6. Attach the presents.
Glue the presents along the bottom of the tree, then place the gold star sticker at the top.

To finish, place the gold star on top. If gold star stickers are unavailable, cut one from yellow or gold paper.
Your turkey’s Christmas Tree disguise is finished!
