How to Make Strawberry Playdough
Jello makes it easy to prepare your own fragrant strawberry playdough. It adds a vivid red shade too, so no food coloring is needed! Older children will enjoy assisting with the recipe, while kids of every age can have fun with the finished dough.

Ingredients Needed
Gather the following ingredients:
- JELLO– one 3oz box in Strawberry flavor
- Flour – plain white all-purpose flour
- Cream of Tartar
- Salt
- Vegetable Oil – avoid olive oil because it can affect the dough’s color and fragrance

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 2 tsp cream of tartar, 1/4 cup salt, and one 3 oz package of Strawberry Jello.

Pour 2 tbsp vegetable oil and 1 cup water into a saucepan.

Stir the dry ingredients into the saucepan until combined. Over medium heat, cook the mixture while stirring continuously until dough develops.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool. Once ready, it should form a uniform dough. If it is too tacky to knead, place it back on the heat and cook a little longer. Then leave it aside to cool.
