Nothing says summer quite like a tall, icy glass of lemonade. It brings to mind county fairs, children perched beside the road with lemonade stands, and the hope of earning a few dollars. It’s also one of my all-time favorite beverages. Now, our Easy Paper Lemonade Craft has become a beloved summer activity as well.
This project is incredibly fast and simple, requiring little more than cardstock pieces and a paper straw to create a playful 3D effect. Another wonderful benefit is that children can practice cutting shapes, including plenty of circles and squares.
Summer Lemonade Drink Craft
For this cheerful lemonade project, gather cardstock in white and yellow, an orange marker, paper straws, a glue stick, and scissors.

- Cardstock – white, yellow

- Paper straws

Easy Lemonade Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by shaping a glass out of the yellow cardstock.
First, cut out a rectangle and fold it. Then, starting at the open side, make a diagonal cut so the glass is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top.
Next, make two circles from the white cardstock, slicing one circle into two halves. Also, cut several little squares from the white paper.
Use the orange marker to turn the circles into lemon or orange slices. For a lemon-like appearance, you can choose a vivid yellow marker instead. Trace the shape’s outer edge, place a small mark in the middle, and draw diagonal lines outward from that point.
Then, place the paper straw inside the glass and gently bend its upper end.
Attach the lemon slices and the small square pieces of ice.
To finish, draw circles across the glass with the orange marker to create bubbles.
It looks so charming and refreshing that you’ll want to enjoy a long sip! Perhaps of actual lemonade, though, once this adorable summer project is complete.
