To make our Christmas tree craft, gather paper cups, green acrylic paint, and foam sheets in yellow, red, blue, or any shades you prefer, along with red ribbon, scissors, and glue.
Supplies for the Paper Cup Christmas Tree Craft
- Paper cup
- Green acrylic paint
- Foam sheets – yellow, red, or preferred colors
- Red ribbon
- Scissors
- Glue
Step-by-Step Christmas Tree Craft Instructions
Start by coating the paper cup with green acrylic paint.
Allow the paint to dry fully.
Use a yellow foam sheet to cut out a star. Alternatively, star-shaped foam stickers can be used.
Attach the star to the top of the paper cup with glue. Ordinary glue or glue dots are suitable, but make sure the adhesive has dried. Hot glue is another option.
Next, wrap a length of ribbon around the paper cup.
Finally, cut several tiny circles from the red and yellow foam sheets to use as ornaments. We also created a tree decorated with blue and white ornaments.
